"My husband and I stayed here for our Anniversary. It was absolutely perfect! Quiet, lakefront setting, Rocking chairs on the covered porch, a bonfire with new friends every night and a wonderful bar on site to enjoy an old fashioned drink. We reserved a suite that had a lake view and exuded a timeless comfort. The owners were right there on site and so welcoming, including offering a small breakfast every morning. They even recommended some great restaurants nearby for dinner. Birch Lodge...

"Very clean and quiet. Would recommend to stay again."

"Older property but they’re working on doing some renovations it looked like. You can’t beat the location for proximity to Soo Locks and the restaurants and shops. The parking lot is really nice too. We’d stay here again."

"Suite was spacious and clean. TV instructions were misleading, but we got it resolved through messaging. Needed more seating options in the main room. Lack of surfaces in bathroom made it difficult to spread items out. There is no vanity around the sink and only a small shelf. There is no on-site staff. We got a great night's sleep -- very quiet."

"Overall, our stay was great. Easy access to the property made both arrival and departure stress-free. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The complimentary breakfast was a standard continental breakfast. While it was appreciated, we felt the selection could be expanded to offer a bit more variety. Although we didn’t travel with our pets this time, we were pleased to see that the property is pet-friendly, which is a...

"Everyone was so nice and helpful! The property was clean and in a nice, quiet part of town. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt cared for and accommodated! The only complaint was that the bed was incredibly stiff, so it caused some mild discomfort when sleeping."

"Staff we’re extremely accommodating and responsive"

"Xx"

"There was a bit of a mixup when I checked in, they gave me a key to room that was already occupied, I felt a little scared as a woman travelling alone I also asked for a late checkout and paid for the late checkout on the app, however the staff was not informed, and I had to remind them twice that I paid for the late checkout. The staff was friendly throughout this process, but it was just a little inconvenient."

"Staff and cleanliness"

"Clean, spacious and budget friendly. Close to shops and the Soo Locks Staff were professional and inviting"

"Great!"

"The room was not clean. The room were not like the pictures. All the bedding was dirty and soiled. We asked for the room to be cleaned so that we could sleep in it and they just headed us sheets and had us do it are self. The was not breakfast in the morning cause all staff was sick and couldn’t get it open. The worst experience I have ever had up north"

"The room was clean and in a good location. The bathroom floor was terrible. The tiles were lifting and stuck to your feet."

"Host was quick to respond to needs. Nice room!"
