EXCELLENT stay! We arrived extremely late after a long day sightseeing. We were greeted by an extremely friendly front desk clerk (wish I got his name) who immediately checked us in. The following morning, we went in search of the Castles dog. We found him doing his job, right in front of the castles entrance! Grounds were lovely, Irish people have to be the absolute kindest people on earth! I highly recommend Ballyseede Castle!

A welcoming and warm staff. Excellent accommodations and most delicious food in the restaurant. Would not hesitate to stay at the beautiful Killeen House when visiting the area again. Highly recommend.

This place was exquisite and we plan to return in the future. The staff was very helpful and delightful. The restaurant was outstanding for both breakfast (excellent buffet) and dinner (spectacular). The setting is beautiful and walking distance from Muckross Abby and Muckross House. The walking paths are tranquil and well kept. A beautiful place that we LOVED and highly recommend.

Older hotel but upgrades are lovely and very modern rooms, lounge, sitting room areas. Clean Room was adequate space and bed was comfortable & pillows were extra plump and firm Very relaxing !! Staff are all so gracious and helpful ! Breakfast was cooked perfectly as ordered ! Nice garden room and grounds Great location & walkable to many attractions, pubs, cafes, shops. Will be back !!

This was probably one of my favorite hotels in Ireland. I loved the easy parking for our cars, the rooms, amenities, and the bar. The staff there are all top notch, the hotel itself is lovely, and the location is wonderful. It seemed very quiet there. The only issue is coffee. If in-room coffee suits you, then no issues for you. But if you want good coffee at the hotel it's $20 room service, or the $60/pp breakfast. The room was spacious and the amenities lovely. I urge you to experience the spa. I only had time for a massage, but the combination specials they offer seem to be a great value. The massage was well done and much needed. I felt great afterward. I was also in love with the heated indoor pool the shape of a long Lima bean - all 4 ft. deep. We stayed on the 6th night of an 8 day trip around Ireland. We had seen a profile about Ballymaloe house on CBS Sunday Morning and we were not disappointed. The grounds are great, the rooms classic with great comfort and the staff is wonderful. The meals were absolutely top notch, and we got a private look at the wine cellar, and my wife learned how to bake Irish Soda Bread in their kitchen. I highly recommend anyone going to Ireland to experience this great property.

Staff were amazing, very helpful and friendly. Hotel was beautiful. Everything was very clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast which came with our room was out of this world! Everything you could want and more! Sitting areas were beautiful, as was the bar lounge area. Large parking area. Overall, just a very relaxing stay. I would definitely recommend and would stay again if I travel to Ireland in the future!

Large rooms very considerate staff,food in the bar was good,no idea why this hotel only gets a three rating - I would score significantly higher than three stars. Great shopping for Irish produced clothing

Early morning coffee & croissants

Incredible property, it was the relaxation we needed after traveling with a young family for two weeks.

Outstanding location, 2 blocks from the town square. Free parking under the hotel. Cobh was one of my favorite stops on our 10 stop, 3-week trip around the emerald isle. Each morning there was a new cruise ship viewable from the breakfast patio, but the town was perfectly walkable and not over-run by the cruise ship passengers. Wonderful stay with a great common area for meeting other travelers!

Moxy Cork staff are tremendous, always friendly and they go out of their way to be helpful. It is located in the most convenient spot, close to the downtown. I walked throughout the city from there. Within a block's walk are several superb restaurants, one particularly great one called Da Micro Osteria. Also two blocks away is Ce, an historic Irish pub with music every night. I have stayed in many hotels throughout the world, Moxy Cork rates among the finest!
