"It’s a castle . In itself that delivers a degree of grandiosity. Very impressive elements of period decor and artifacts on display . Parking was fine on multiple days . Town is a short walk down the drive . Peacocks everywhere, you won’t miss them . A very pleasant place to stay "

"A big thank you to Wendy who made our stay easy and enjoyable. We use a lot of hotels and its not very often we find one without fault. This one indeed ticked all the boxes. The hotel is wonderful and clean, the owner(s) were very helpful and accomodating. Breakfast was included and we had an evening meal which was an extra cost but still tasty and affordable. I would highly reccomend. "

"A well run hotel in a beautiful location. The grounds were very well kept and the food was very good. The hotel is a little dated in places with a few areas needing to be repaired or painted. Other than that, a lovely hotel with great staff. "

"Me and my girlfriend wanted a weekend away close by and chose Ruthin. We saw the Feathers which was very close to the centre. We booked two nights. When we arrived we were warmly greeted and shown our room and the amenities. It was only then I realized I'd booked a room with a shared bathroom. This was no problem, we were very quickly moved to an en-suite. Both rooms, en-suite and standard, were very clean, tidy, modern and comfortable. The en-suite was quite big really, the beds were very comfortable and we both slept very well. I would totally recommend a stay at the feathers. There was no breakfast but literally across the road there is a traditional cafe."
