"The resort is well presented, clean and tidy. Breakfast was surprisingly good; it might be better to set it out in three sections. A toast area, hot food and cold food, so people didn't queue at the wrong place. Pool areas are lovely and clean; the cabin was nicely presented and clean. "We love this hotel and the area as it’s lovely and quiet. We had a sea view and large room that slept 3. Breakfast is great and run very well with polite, well organised staff who run a tight ship. "We stayed at this hotel for the last night of our 4 day South-North Wales road trip. After spending 3 full days trekking, sightseeing and driving, it was a perfect end to a brilliant road trip. The hotel was welcoming and super comfortable and the spa experience before we headed home on our final morning was a perfect relaxing finish. "We can see from the hotel that the owners have not long took over. the room was clean and had enough room to move about. The windows need another curtain as we had to pin the middle curtain down to block out the light. The bathroom has be updated .but the shower cubicle could do with an extra clean in the corners . The kettle could do with being put higher as I had to get on my knees to brew up lol. And lastly the bed was very comfy but please add a few more pillows as the ones that were there...

The staff on reception and in the restaurant were exceptional, we never really had any intervention with the other staff as we were a fly by night visit. "Beautiful location, lovely village and park across the road. Very safe for children to walk around the village. Though mine just stayed in the park. The staff at this hotel are very well mannered, attentive and successful in what they do regardless of obvious pressures. A bit disappointed there wasn't any danishes available before breakfast had finished at the early time of 930am. Plenty of cereals, toast and jams with plenty of coffee that you can takeaway"

"One thing I forgot about visiting the UK in a heatwave, older hotels do not have air conditioning, it was perpetually hot in the room. I asked for and received a very dusty pedestal fan which when turned on for the first time garnished the room in a cloud of dust. We booked Cabin 25 (Lark) to celebrate our anniversary, but the stay was completely ruined by the appalling condition of the accommodation and the complete lack of action when I reported it. On our first evening I discovered extensive visible black mould around the shower, on the shower curtain and bathroom ceiling. I then inspected the rest of the cabin and found mould on the studio curtains and sofa bed, together with a significant build-up of dirt...

"Ideal location for a short break. Room was good, small but quite comfortable. Only drawback was the stairs bit steep for anyone with mobility issues. Would stay again. Nice breakfast."
