"A lovely stay. Beautiful hotel, nice and helpful staff, wonderful surroundings. Bed was a great size and really comfy, room was spacious, and the shower was excellent."

"Modern, clean and well-equiped hotel with all expected amenities. Useful ability to charge the electric car while parked outside. Very good variety of an excellent plentiful breakfast. There is a strange system of in-corridor hot drinks dispensing rather than in-room, but kettle, drinks etc are available to take up to the room from reception."

"The whole place is spotless and really well run by kind and helpful staff who were very attentive the whole time. Being in an old building, the amenities were not the best, the room had a very sloped floor, which made me feel a little seasick! And the bed tilted because of this, I had to prop something under my mattress so that I didn’t roll out of bed in the night! I had a lovely bath but equally due to the slope it felt like the water would tip out if too full! My room was right next to the lift so I could hear that lots of times but it wasn’t too disturbing in the night with the sound of the fan which I switched on in the room. The dinner was absolutely delicious, I was really impressed, and 10% off for guests staying . Breakfast was not so good, the cooked breakfast was not very appealing (lumpy scrambled eggs, dry hard bacon) and the buffet breast options were very limited, but it didn’t dampen my stay too much. The staff were really so lovely. All in all, it is a lovely hotel and I’d probably return but might request a room that doesn’t slope/isn’t right next to the lift!!"

"Staff were amazing lady on front desk was brilliant barman really nice Didn't use dinning room but food looks good Room needs a little more care found items from previous guests left Also don't replenish items have to go and ask at reception for any extra No onside parking did manage to park in the street and as we used the local buses wasn't an issue but high summer maybe isn't great Evening entertainment every night was a bonus bar prices reasonable"
