"Good, simple hotel on the edge of the historic portion of Chartres. 10 Mins walk takes you to the Catherdral Quiet hotel, under cover carpark (we booked in advance with Onepark). One issue was with the shower where the temperature varied throughout a shower, but not a major gripe."

"The breakfast was amazing and the restaurant is truly original with the biggest " cheese dome" in the world. The big problem I had was that the rooms are not equipped with a mini bar which is a must at any time of the year but more so during a heat wave. I was upgraded to a room with a tiny fridge and no alcohol in it. There was no vending machine either. The underground parking is very convenient with a direct elevator to the reception area."
