The main lodge and rooms are so beautifully decorated and the atrium and dining room are spectacular as is the food. Enjoyed sitting at the bar with a nice glass of wine and chatting with the knowledgeable, nice, young bartender. Staff is friendly and helpful all leading the visitor to a special experience."

"The property grounds are absolutely beautiful with multiple cottages, gardens, lakes, and outside seating areas by the water. Harry's Restaurant on site has great food and a lovely outdoor seating area where you can watch the ducks, geese and white swans float by. Unfortunately, the lodging in the main two-story building is nothing special and does not match the exquisite property. We had just a one-night stay so didn't get to use the amenities and activities."

"When I arrived a barefoot man shuffled out to check me in . Did not offer a key. Gave me a room right near the door. Was very creepy. I did not stay"

"The girl at the desk when I checked in was great but the guy when I checked out acted like I was bothering him. The room wasn’t very clean to the point where I had my shoes on the whole time. I used wipes to clean the bathroom down before I used it and I needed a lot and they were very gross when I put them in the trash. Towels smelled like they used way too much bleach to clean them."

"Stopped here randomly just to break up our 12 hour drive. The beds were comfortable for what we needed. Only thing I saw that wasn't great was there were some kind of (dead) flying bugs in the bathroom sink when we arrived. We rinsed the sink out though and didn't see any more of them or any living ones so maybe just needed to be wiped out after pest control had sprayed or whatever. All in all the stay worked for what we needed."

"If you don’t buy into that big hotel minimalist esthetic, then Twi-Light Motel is for you. Clean, newly renovated, friendly staff, we slept so well and walked to Melting Pot Pizza and Knotty Pine Diner for breakfast. Their flowers and garden are beautiful."

"Jimmie and Jackie were wonderful hosts during our stay. They provided treats to help us celebrate my birthday and our wedding anniversary. They are more than happy to show you around their lovely farm. Could not recommend them enough!"
