Good place

The hotel is very nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. The location is a bit out of the way but otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Great choice for rest & relaxation. Secluded & private. Good selection of food & wine. Service is awesome. Not enough beach chairs on sand for hotel of this size. Also, beach is very rocky compared to rest of Sanya.

Best resort I’ve ever stayed in.

Being a very difficult guest and a 100+ day a year Shangri la Hotel client and since the shangri a was sold out i had to book a different hotel for my short 2 days stay and i can tell you what a Gem. The location, the facility, Cleanliness, Service, food and over all the staff. I can't thank enough. I am better take this opportunity to thank a few people . This is my second time here. Great breakfast buffet! So many options, my family enjoyed a lot. Hotel is a bit old… I need to push super hard to close my room door. I booked a private pool room but the pool doesn’t look clean… Overall the experience was good because of the breakfast but prob wont come back again unless they renovate or have new activities going around.

The hotel is in Shimey Bay, on the beach, far from the crowded cities. Definitely stylish, European hotel, looks like a big bungalow, as opposed to the nearby Westin Hotel, which looks like bunch of concrete blocks. Exceptionally well trained staff!! Chris at the reception helped me with organizing our transportation to Haikou Airport. She also help me withdraw some cash from the bankomat. We got a very good deal on the room through Expedia.

We had a fantastic time at the Ritz in Sanya. It was such an easy getaway from Hong Kong. We wnjoyed every aspect of our stay. First, the staff is super attentive. From Shelly at Check-in to Freddie, the Manager. Anna in the restaurant and Lilly at the fabulous spa just to name a few of the great hotel staff. The hotel grounds are amazing. Beautifully landscaped, right on the ocean which was clean with a lovely beach. A bit too cold to swim in Feb so we went to the pools, there are 4, all...
