"The waterfront views and location are the best things about this property. However, the unit is very dated and doesn’t match the price. The furnishings need updating, the A/C only worked by plugging it in or unplugging it, the Wi-Fi stopped working after the first day, and we had no hot water until maintenance reset the system. With some renovations and better maintenance, this could be a great place to stay."

"Cute place to stay to start a Cape Breton Tour. We overnighted here before a golf trip at Cabot Links. Our chalet was very functional and cozy. The dinner and live music were excellent and fun! Check out was slow and inconvenient- staff have multiple duties that slowed things down."

"We were in the lakeview room. This room would be fine for 2, but the pullout bed should be sent to the dump. It was horrible. We seriously considered finding another place to stay for the second night. On top of that, no internet for the entire stay, the bathroom door was terrible to open or close, and in the morning there is no way to sleep in past other tenants, because as soon as they turn on the water, a pump goes off right by your head…repeatedly. Find another place to stay."

"Was pleasantly surprised at how lovely and well maintained this property was. We stayed in room 8 which gave us our own balcony with chairs to enjoy our morning coffee. We also loved that they thought of everything robes for the hot tub, tea and Nespresso coffee , snacks and wonderful bath products . It is on the Main Street of Chéticamp which I hadn’t noticed in booking but it was a wonderful haven for our last night of our road trip nonetheless."

"The Fiddle and the Sea BnB was great. The room was very clean and spacious. My room had a private bathroom. It was a quiet place. The breakfast had a set menu, but it was very good and had a few options like the kind of toast you wanted and a choice of beverage. Sometimes its the little things that make a difference. "I absolutely loved my stay here! I stayed here for 3 nights while travelling across Canada. The pod was clean and cozy upon arrival. There’s a fan, heater and extension cord to charge items and make yourself comfy. There’s ample parking, washrooms and showers, a kitchen to prep and store food and you’re close to cafes and the town. I’d love to return someday and have already recommended this place to so many of my friends who love the outdoors."
