No AC, but had ceiling fan. impeccable place. Absolute luxury and wonderful breakfast. Loved it!

For a remodeled old motel it is exceptional

The room was better than expected, very clean, all amenities (coffee, TV, wine glasses), the bathroom was very clean as well. We also had a nice balcony with a view of the river. The inn is very basic, it is not cozy, but has everything you need.

Well thought out with a full tranche of spotless amenities

Started terrible, was given a room someone was in. Had to show the attendant before he would believe. Gave us a room upgrade after I got upset. Room was way more than we had asked for. In the morning he told us that a chambermaid had given out the key, he was nice but they were not organized as he did not look up our reservation on the computer. It was not a cheap place for the mess we had, no I would avoid it.

Quiet. Since this is part of a micro brewery we worried it might be loud, but it was exceptionally quiet. Some other guests had dogs with them, which we could hear from time to time, but not at night when we slept! No air conditioning, which is normal, but we were there during a very hot spell, several days over 90 F. Fan worked well enough, plus porch off the room allowed you to sit in shade and we slept with porch doors open wide and felt completely safe also. A store selling their beers is on...

David makes everyone feel right at home. He is a wonderful cook as well.

This was a comfortable, very quiet 3rd floor room with a view of the St. Lawrence River. I was in room 302 and I found it to be spacious with plenty of cabinet space. I particularly appreciated the carpeted flooring as I could do my yoga. Staff fabulous. I didn’t eat at restaurant, but they were busy. There is no elevator, but this was not an issue for me since I only stayed one night and not a lot to carry but staff was available to assist.

Everything about our stay here was delightful. The rooms, the staff, the breakfasts, the location,and, most importantly, the view looking out to the St. Lawrence river was all we could want. I highly recommend this auberge and hope we can return sometime. John G.

This gîte has a warm, homey feel that's hard not to love — friendly, social, and quaint, with cute decor and a space that's kept very clean. It's quiet both inside and out, centrally located, and offers good value for the price. In-room amenities include a small fridge and TV, with shared access to utensils and a microwave (in the hallway). Very comfortable mattress. Perfect little motel to stay for the night in Malbaie. Very clean rooms and friendly staff.
