"I don't usually write reviews because I don't like to waste my time online too much but this will be my first review in Expedia. I fell in love with Mombasa, Kenya and this was my second time visit within two months time frame. We got there around 2am due to the late flight schedule. "I stayed here for two nights as part of a tour through Kenya. I was welcomed at the reception with a lovely welcome drink on check-in. All the staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful and attentive. As a solo black female traveller, I wasn't sure what to expect but I was treated very well by all! The resort itself is stunning with lovely grounds. The gardens are well kept and you may see the odd monkey lurking about. I had half board for my stay. There was an incredible food selection for both breakfast and dinner. The chef made special gluten free food for both as well. I had a sea facing room. The room was beautiful but the decor is a little dated / tired. There is a kettle in the room with free tea bags and coffee. "
