"We had a great stay at the Grand Poet hotel. We had a slight issue with a noisy adjoining room at first but they moved us to a different room straightaway. The rooms are big and we had a nice view of the city whilst still being quiet. There was a great selection for breakfast and the spa/pool was lovely. The staff were all very helpful and on my birthday we came back to find a bottle of sparkling wine in our room. Would definitely recommend. "

"The hotel is very modern and clean. Our room was a good size, quiet, and had a view of the Riga river. They have an excellent breakfast buffet. The location is excellent. It is near old Riga, buses and trams leave from right in front of the hotel, and the train station is nearby. Right across from the hotel is the giant Riga marketplace. The staff were friendly and helpful. If we need to come to Riga again, we would definitely choose this hotel. The only glitch we had was that at first the...
