"Such a fantastic stay. The massage is amazing, I really recommended it and the staff and food is amazing. Was perfect for our 6 day stay!"

"El hoyel es muy bonito pero si se nota que no le han dado el mantenimiento suficiente a todas las areas comunes. Los camastros de la playa estan herrumbrados. Los pisos de madera que comunican a las habitaciones se ven manchados. En general necesita un buen mantenimiento. Las habitaciones si estan bien excepto los paños de mano de colores, ya estan muy viejos. Es un hotel divino pero para el precio si deben de mantenerlo mejor"

"Excellent staff and the property is reminiscent of a resort more so than a hotel/stay. Access to beach is extremely easy, attached to the backside of the property, though the beachfront is not 'developed' or 'set up' so do not expect a resort-like sun-chair set up. Excellent location if you want to be away from the hustle bustle of puerto viejo, but still biking distance to get to all the shops and cafes. Fabiano at the front desk, and Rosita for breakfast service, were both absolute delights...

"We really enjoyed our stay overall! The views were absolutely beautiful, and the property was very well maintained. The staff was also super helpful, friendly, and welcoming, which made our experience even better. The main issue we had was with the room. Unfortunately, our room did not have AC, which made it uncomfortable at times, especially at night. I think having AC available would make a big difference and would definitely improve the overall guest experience. Aside from that, we really...

"The property was amazing and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. From the complimentary breakfast to the beautiful pool, and reserved poolside chairs we loved it. They informed us of some community amenities and held our bags until the check in. We were allowed to check in a bit early also. Clean and well organized smaller hotel. We will return!"

"Mejorar el wifi"

"The staff was amazing! Like unbelievably amazing! Greeted at the dock, luggage taken care of, greeted with fresh watermelon juice, chef cooked such delicious meals (dessert included), housekeeping cleaned 2-3 times a day, cooper hooked us up with tours, everything was great and relaxing. 3 minute walk to the beach, 5 minute walk to the national park, 5 minute walk to the village. "

"Great place to stay on the Caribbean side! VERY nice owners who were super helpful. This place literally has a private beach!!! The house itself was so much fun and HUGE! Great if you have kids or even if you want a romantic getaway. Would definitely stay here again! "

"Excelente habitación, personal amable. El desayuno incluido era bueno. Acceso a la playa privado. Muy buena experiencia, de regresar a limón, sería en mi caso al mismo hotel. 100% recomendado"

"Every member of the staff was amazing. Everyone was welcoming and seemed genuinely happy to make my stay the best I could possibly be. The food was delicious. the tours were personal and led by very knowledgeable guides. If you don’t have time to do all of the activities, and if you’re there for nature, I recommend skipping the jungle hike to the top of mountain. It’s no more than a walk up a bunch of steps to a lookout point."

"If you want ultimate rainforest luxury and top level service you should stay here. Not to be missed. Raft in and out via the Pacuare river and be completely enveloped by the forest and river in the middle of nowhere while having high level meals breakfast, lunch and dinner, incredible adventure programs like zip lining through the canopy and repelling down little waterfall. Seriously. 1000% The food was top tier. The service was thoughtful and personal. The staff is amazing. And they have great...

"Sublime. We saw sloths and toucans walking from reception to our air conditioned room. The property is IN the jungle on the beach. The food is excellent and varied, with portions almost too big. All of the staff is helpful and friendly. It's not Sandals so don't expect infinity pools, mini golf, open bars and a disco. Expect green macaws and monkeys on your amble to the virtually empty beach. You'll see an old wooden hull from a long ago shipwreck and pelicans skimming the small waves. There...

"Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Zeer uitgebreid ontbijt, zeer ruime kamer. Voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Het zwembad is niet heel groot en er zijn niet veel ligbedden. De ligging is aan de rand van Puerto Viejo maar fietsverhuur en restaurants nog steeds op loopafstand."

"We came from Canada and spent 3 nights here in one of their bungalows. So nice to have the AC! Breakfast buffet (with made to order eggs) was good, all the staff were amazing and very helpful. So many lizards on the property and the turtles were nesting and hatching right out front of the lodge! Town was only a short walk away. The boat ride in and out was an adventure in itself! Stay here, you won’t regret it"

"Here’s a polished review you can post: We had an amazing stay at Hotel Aguas Claras in Costa Rica. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the location was perfect. The beach nearby was beautiful, peaceful, and great for relaxing. Everything about the experience felt special and authentic. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Caribbean side of Costa Rica!"

"We had the best stay at awa!! The property is very tastefully done , location on the beach is perfect , breakfast and just food overall (including the coffee) overall is delicious, and I can’t say enough good things about the staff , esp. Johnny .. he went out of his way to help us with some last minute booking changes that we would’ve otherwise stressed about. I also asked the reception staff about the amazing coffee they serve and they were kind enough to give me a sample !! Overall very...
