This is a very old hotel that is a real pleasure to stay at in every way and the kitchen continues to exceed hopes and expectations for all meals. I have stayed there off and on for almost 50 years.

Friendly staff, continental breakfast was excellent and the area was full of history and old world charm.

Hotel Anker is a lovely hotel situated in the historic part of Marktheidenfeld. The interiors are nicely decorated with memorabilia from the family who owns and runs the hotel. The people are friendly and helpful, while the rooms are clean, large, and well-equipped.

Second stay at this hotel (different owner) and it is as beautiful as we remembered. The hotel is located in a forest along the Main river. There are plenty of trails that lead to quaint farming towns, and wind along the river. Bikes are available for rent. Our room was spacious and clean - very comfortable. Nice, spacious room. Comfortable bed. Helpful desk staff. Convenient to public transit. There is a bit of traffic and crowd noise early evening or if you try to sleep with windows open.

Wonderful stay

Worners Schloss is superb. They really do a great job of taking care of you and offering you great options. The food was great, and clean. The spa facilities, including massage, were fantastic. The owners are super friendly and very accommodating. It was a a great stay!! Don't miss it if you have a chance.
