Kruger National Park
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (39 reviews)
"We first stayed at Bongani Mountain Lodge 15 years ago and returned when we saw it on special over new year. Not much has changed in 15 years. We had a nice time - the food was good and our ranger and tracker were pleasant and informative. I would not rate this lodge as luxury. The room, with a queen size bed, had seen better days and with the thatch roof and poor choice of tiles it always seemed a bit grubby. The game viewing is not great. "Casa do Sol was quiet compared to our previous stays here but this didn't stop the staff doing everything they could to make our stay agreeable. Of particular note was the high standard of the food which we thoroughly enjoyed. Go now and enjoy as the hotel will soon be busy again. A great place to stay before you go into Kruger."

Kruger Shalati - Train on the Bridge and Garden Suites

Kruger Shalati - Train on the Bridge and Garden Suites

10/10 Excellent
"We had the most incredible time for our honeymoon. What a perfect place to have the safari trip of a lifetime!! You can even see animals from the train during the day like hippo, elephant and buffalo! The staff go above and beyond. The food was excellent. The highlight was obviously the incredible safari game drives!! It’s so helpful having such knowledgeable people take you around the park."
