An excellent option if you have a rental car and use as a hub. Metro station is 15 minutes away and can use the park and ride garage, alternately you can drive into Vienna in about 30 minutes but risk hitting traffic and paying more for parking. Food at the hotel was real good.

It is a very nice stay and meet my expectations.

Beautiful hotel ,just south of Vienna, with really easy access to the city by taxi (although a little pricey) or by bus to the underground metro ,which is quite cheap & a great experience ! The Karl-Wirt rooms were spotless & the beds extemely comfortable. Breakfast was buffet style but had an enormous array of choice .It had its own restaurant next door with very friendly waiters who were very helpful. The food ,delicious too ! We will definitely stay here again.

The pool was very unique and pretty. Unfortunately we didn't have a long enough stay to use it. If we ever spend time near Vienna, we'd definitely go back there. It is easy to get to from the highway and the train station was a short walk from the hotel and it went straight to downtown Vienna.

the room was clean it was easy to check in and check out. the shopping mall is really close and also there is a station for easy access in vienna. this hotel was a perfect choice

Hotel is all white super-clean with everything looking pristine. Room is somewhat spartan - TV and hairdryer provided - but beds comfortable, nice rain-type shower and the hot water is really hot. A note for US visitors - as with almost all small hotels in the cooler parts of Europe there is no air conditioning. Fine for most of the year but can be uncomfortable in a heat wave. The hotel was fantastic, breakfast was amazing and it was in a quieter part of town close to public transit.

Loved staying here! The location was good for us -- we enjoy walking, and were able to walk nearly everywhere we wanted to go. There are restaurants close by. The complimentary spa was AMAZING!!!! We reserved the spa for 10:00 in the evening -- perfect end to a day full of walking. It was about a 10 minute walk from the subway station to the hotel. The staff was very, very accommodating. Quite pleased with our stay here. Room was clean and well appointed with a really eclectic and luxurious look. Beds were a bit stiff for us and we had to ask for more pillows which they happily provided. Breakfast was wonderful. Didn’t get to try the other two restaurants/bars. Would def stay again. It’s near westbanhoff which made it very convenient

Wonderful staff and breakfast. Room was comfortable and had all the necessary amenities! Easy to get there with the metro...you literally come up out of the subway and arrive at the hotel. Very cool views of St Stephens church and the delightful Christmas market!
