"Overall a pleasant stay. Best for couples since bathroom is open with a swing door between the toilet and shower so you can close one or the other but not both. Black stone sink has a tilt (not a regular design but with a flat edge at the bottom) so water never drains completely. I booked the hotel for the pool and hot tub, only to find that it is available from 8 - 9:30 am or 1.5 hours in the morning (with kids) without a fee (20 euros per day for the spa that includes the pool and hot tub)...

"Hotel was in excellent location,very close to train station and close to the town centre. Staff very friendly and had very good English. I used the parking for one day(Parking is charged at 25 euro for 24hours)very good parking area. The only down side was the rooms didn't have Air conditioning and while I stayed it was rather warm. The hotel had provided a dyson air fan for the room which was of great and cooling. Would recommend staying here for sure."

"Mooi vrij nieuw hotel op een paar honderd meter van het NS station. Vriendelijke ontvangst bij de receptie en uitleg over de gebruikelijke gang van zaken. Nette kamer met alle benodigdheden. Ontbijt is prima en uitgebreid. Alles bij elkaar sterk aan te raden."

"Excellent stay. We had a one night stopover in Leiden to visit family. Nice property, friendly staff, clean and quiet rooms, great breakfast buffet with plenty food options, and secure parking. Only 10 min walk into town. Highly recommend!"

"Clean hotel that is conveniently located near the train station. There are also markets near by for any food or essentials you may need. The hallways smelled clean, which was something I wasn’t expecting but was appreciated."

"The rooms are located right at the walking center of Leiden in a lovely restored building on one of the loveliest canals. The rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. Turn left out the door to the public market and the main shopping streets. Turn right to the lovely Pieterskerk (c 1221), many nice restaurants on the Cloksteg and the old academic buildings of the venerable Leiden University and it’s famous gardens."

"Wir waren schon zum 2. Mal im Boutique Hotel in Leiden. Super saubere Zimmer, nette und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter und eine unschlagbare Lage. Direkt an einem ruhigen Fleet und zentrumsnah gelegen. Von Leiden aus sind Amsterdam und Den Haag schnell zu erreichen. Unsere Fahrräder konnten wir im Innenhof sicher unterstellen. Wir können dieses Hotel wirklich empfehlen!"

"Clean, well -run, loved the quirky decor. Although it"s on a busy little street with bars and "coffee shops" and there can be noise at night, it"s very secure (four automatically locking doors between our studio and the street). Central and close to the station. You can easily do day trips all over the Randstad. The staff are very nice. Don't worry about arriving when reception is shut, the digital keys work."

"We arrived late so no reception but instructions were clear to get to room. Unfortunately the hotel and room smell like a barn but u get used to it. We woke up early to a ton of seagulls attacking the garbage bags for a few hours starting at 4:3am that was in bags just beside the hotel. I don’t know if I would rush back to this place. But the breakfast and receptionist at Rembrandt were good and the location is nice (other than being beside two big garbage bins) Thanks."

"Our stay in Leiden at this VRBO was absolutely lovely! It was as photographed and very clean. It is located on a quieter (but not completely quiet) portion of a busy shopping street. The surrounding neighborhood is lovely with numerous shops, restaurants, a nearby grocery, etc. It is easy to get around by walking and public transit, no car needed! The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom has both a bathtub and a relaxing rain shower. We did have a small issue at check in where the VRBO app...
