The property if very relaxing and scenic embedded in a forest like setting reflective of the natural beauty of Sumatra. It is about 40-45 mins from downtown Medan but that didn’t bother us. Grab drivers are widely available and cost effective plus you really don’t need to go back and forth. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the owners provide a somewhat personalized touch to your stay, checking up on us, ensuring everything is to our satisfaction.

This lodge was really great! It’s right on the river and close to the jungle and bat cave. They use the money they earn at the lodge to support Orangutan Haven, a rehabilitation center for injured and abused orangutans.

Very near the airport, about a 10 minute drive. They provide shuttle service to and from the airport.

My favorite hotel to stay in Medan

Friendly staff, nice decor, karaoke, 24 hrs cafe and hot spring pool on 1st floor. Paid 50k rupiah per person for breakfast, buffet style, and several options. Overall, good and satisfying hotel stay.

Booked two rooms to accommodate our party of four. My room was good with comfortable beds and pillows. Air conditioner in June worked well in our room but not as well in our second room. Bathroom was clean though shower area was a little small. Had to have sink faucet replaced but staff was quick on the repair. Lobby was clean. Staff/guard were always attentive. Location is good as it’s near three malls. No breakfast (2-star hotel), but we enjoyed nearby bakeries (Majestyk), cafes (Dominico),...

clean, comfort and helpful staff

Great staff and good breakfast. The bed/bedding is extremely comfortable however the water in the sink, bathtub and toilet of the bathroom leaks constantly due to poor maintenance so the floor is wet and slippery, which increases risk of falling.

Quite a small room but it is a clean, suitable for short day trip or transit. Location is a plus, besides the shopping mall.
