"So glad we found this gem! Walking distance to lake side bars (colder fall weather) and we enjoyed sitting in the room just as much playing cribbage. Definitely would like to come back during the summer months, too."

"The management was very helpful and friendly."

"Rooms were very clean. Free breakfast had everything you could want including hot foods, waffle station, pastries, and fresh fruit. Right next to a park with a Dambo troll right on Sallie Lake. Would stay here if ever in the area again."

"Very comfortable room. Would have enjoyed our balcony if the weather cooperated. Nice pool- not too cold. Good whirlpool. The stores in the evening were a nice touch."

"Very clean, quiet and comfortable. We would stay again!"

"Great staff - kudos to the women who helped me rebook etc. Modest but very well maintauned, very clean and all a traveller needs!"

"Little charmer of a place -- the Family Suite at the Pelican was several orders of magnitude better than a similarly named place at a resort in Wisconsin where we stayed earlier this year. Better designed, better furnished, and less than half the price."
