"I've stayed at this property several times over the years, it was a favorite in Tacoma. Common areas need an update, carpets are worn, broken glass in elevators, etc. Room didn't have an iron or ironing board, would have expected for a business/convention type hotel. Had booked a mountain view room, was put in a lower street view room. Didn't bother to complain, as front desk staff seemed preoccupied and not very friendly and I was too tired to move again. Probably won't stay there again."

"Frustrating having a fridge for left overs, but no micro to warm them when you wanted them Only restaurant with decent food was Puyallup cafe. We were told when we checked in the hat tacis were always waiting downstairs. We were given 4 different directions to find them. No taxi. Security called twice and a taxi after an hour just showed up to hopefully be needed. The call was never activated. After waiting an hour we missed the wedding we're going to. Very funny ustrating"

"Misleading that the hot tub was not included in stay make it look like an amenity to the hotel. Don’t build a party venue right next to your cottages. No privacy or quiet people standing out front of the cottages from party, extremely noisy until 10pm quiet hours at 9. Ur who wants to listen to a speaker that might as well be in your room. Then no black out shade so big spot light shown on our room all night finally had to go ask to turn it off around midnight but still had lights on in party...

"While the location is just right, this hotel is not! The hotel had a musty odor but looked clean. The entryway was a mix of 1980's meets colonial south The evening attendant was kind but pressured. They said the same rehearsed dialogue for each one of us checking in. One surprise was that we selected this hotel over the others, it was due to the fact they advertised 24-7 pool and spa. "Our stay was just one night. My first impression was that I did not want to park my car in the parking lot. There was a prostitute on the sidewalk right outside, a lot of people who appeared to be living out of their vehicles parked in the parking lot that is shared with a Goodwill. "Very quaint chalet in the heart of the national park. It was super quiet and peaceful and awesome to be able to sit on the porch and look at Mount Rainier. The food in the restaurant was also very good and the prices were quite fair. The only thing to know is that there's no cell signal and very limited WiFi on the property, also no TV's in the rooms. But if you're looking for a place to disconnect from technology, this place is great!"

"I spent two nights there with my seven-year-old son when we were exploring the Olympia and Tacoma areas for a long weekend. It was a very nice and comfortable stay the free breakfast was far better than average free breakfasts I booked this room in part because it had a pool, but we never made it down there, but that impacted our choice in choosing this hotel. Hotel had free parking and closed in a fence, which made me feel safe for overnight. ."
