The room La Puesta del Sol room was noisy at night due to music from the park a block away even on week nights. Both La Perla and La Sombra rooms faced the pool and were quiet at night. We had to leave our Airbnb early due to excessive noise and ended up here. This place is sooo quiet. The room: layout was spacious and well thought out with a comfy bed. There were some complaints in the reviews of the shower not getting hot. We initially thought we had that problem too but after at least 2 minutes of letting the water run it turned hot. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are great, the public areas are airy and spacious and covered in lush greenery. The restaurant was good too - I especially enjoyed the flank steak. I picked this hotel since it was located close to my family's house. I am so glad I did because this hotel put a ton of American hotels to shame with how clean, quiet, easily located from the street and nice it was. The price was also very reasonable for how large the room was. The security was also very good at this hotel when my dad was trying to come up to our room to pick us up they made him wait until they called my room to verify who he was. The room was clean and organized. Water and soda included with check in. Also free coffee and water downstairs. The room is big, the bathroom is also, breakfast was well worth it with made to order eggs/omelettes. It’s on the outskirts of the center of town but the walking wasn’t terrible. Blow dryer in the room overheats and it turns off for about ten minutes at a time so make sure to wash your hair and have time to dry it. Other than that, everything went well. I’d be back.
