Very unique and great rooms.

starting with the doorman and going on to the cheerful welcome by Clizia at the front desk, it became quite clear that everyone who works here is carefully chosen for the ability to pamper the clients. Annalisa at the lounge, Fabrezio at the concierge desk were both notable in the friendliness. this hotel will be my go-to hotel if i return to Milan

Grand Hotel des Lles Borromees is a wonderfully elegant hotel set lakeside with beautiful grounds and gardens. My wife and I extended our stay from 3 to 5 nights - expensive, but well worth it. If I could give a higher rating than excellent, I would. I cannot say enough for how much we loved this hotel, inside and out. The hotel is beautiful inside and out. The staff were magnifico!!! The rooms were clean. The food the restaurant was excellent. It's right next to the train station. Not far from shops and food. You must stay at the hotel. Next time in, Milan, this is where I'm staying.

Ramesh was very helpful! We arrived before check-in time and we only waited a little while before our room was ready and he answered all our questions and didn’t make us feel bad because we spoke little Italian. You have to remember customer service isn’t the same as it is in the US so you have to be reasonable but they did an excellent job.

My wife and I first visited Grand Hotel Dino several years ago on a tour, and the beautiful images remained with us. We decided to return this July and it was everything we remembered and much more. The hotel is spectacular and the scenery is as well. Hopefully on our next trip up north we will bring our entire family including our grandchildren. We know that they, too, will just love it.

Be careful staying at the Regina Palace - you may be overwhelmed as there is style everywhere you look. Older building, not too large by modern standards, nice elegant rooms. Just beautiful downstairs areas. Large breakfast room with terrace overlooking the lawns and one main restaurant. Access to Spa and indoor pool included. Outdoor pool among the gardens. One day a guest's 1960 Ferrari parked out the back with the top down - just like that ! One night tango dancing on the hotel...

The staff at this hotel set an example of how people in the hospitality industry should be. Everyone I came in contact with was helpful courteous and genuinely nice. I have two issues however that I would like to bring up. The first is the WIFI service which was not free, like all of the hotels that I stayed in for the past two years, at least. The second is the desk in the room: it's too big and its oddly positioned, where it takes a lot of space from the room. Its like an over-sized coffee...

We were in Milan for just a few days but now wish we could stay a lot longer because of Bulgari. It's service and personal attention from staff to an overall design and quality of rooms is what makes it on par with Four Seasons or Peninsula brand of hotels in my mind.
