"Overall, things were good, but I was disappointed by the staff member who attended to me; it spoiled the enjoyment of my birthday celebration which was the very reason I had gone there. Fortunately, a Manager who was nearby stepped in to vouch for me, and I was able to get a room ."

"Liked that there are actions to decrease environmental impacts by using same towels for entire stay, recycling waste, dispensers for toiletry items, no housekeeping, etc"

"The room was very clean. Staff was so kind and friendly and believe me, I bugged them plenty. Location was very close to downtown, walking distance to everything, but not in a noisy area. When I go back, this is where I will be staying."

"The location is perfect. Fisherman’s Wharf is a hop, skip, and a jump away. It’s close to downtown. You can walk everywhere from the hotel. The restaurant in the hotel has delicious food!"

"Great price. Hard to find parking in the front ."

"Very Spaciuos beautful setting"

"Good location, loved to have restaurant on site"

"we really like the location of this location as it was central to many activities downtown."

"Oldish place but in a decent location. Our room was full of small black bugs and was so very crowded by the two queen beds that the closet and one of the chairs were unusable. Light bulbs in our bathroom needed to be replaced, our refrigerator was very noisy as was our toilet after flushing. Breakfast was good enough, though no milk options for the lactose intolerant. Overall, not a great hotel, especially considering the nightly parking fee."

"this hotel is in a perfect location, walking distance to the heart of town. the view is spectacular and the hotel very comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay in the garden view room"

"We had a good stay"

"I found the room to be clean and comfortable. The bathroom has been renovated and was excellent. The breakfast was decent and certainly saved having to look for a place to have breakfast at and the attendant cost."

"Always a comfortable place to stay. Close to downtown."

"I"

"Great location, clean rooms, comfy beds, friendly staff. No air conditioning & no screens on the windows to prevent bugs from coming in. No restaurant on site, front desk has stupid plexi glass shields which are completely useless but they do a great job at making it difficult to hear staff. The parkade will not accommodate large vehicles."

"Staff was Cold. Not a very inviting hotel. Was convieniently located right in front of shopping areas."
