"I loved the fact that the property had a very colonial feel/sight to it. The property was within walking distance of the famous Arch, City Center, and restaurants. The area was quite safe, and guests really got a feel for what it must have felt like to live there during the Spanish invasion of Guatemala. "

"this is truly a five star hotel. From the moment you check in you enjoy the premises and the service. You start the check-in with a cocktail, continue with the friendliness of the staff. "My wife and I took an uber from the airport in Guatemala very late around 10PM. It took about 45 min. The hotel is about 15 min away at walk from the downtown Antigua but it was worth as we liked walking. The hotel is very well decorated both 1st and 2nd floors. On the top we could see volcans very well. "

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. I got in after midnight from the airport and the young man at the front desk was so polite and nice. The landscaping was beautiful and I enjoyed the free coffee offered. The hotel is about a 3 in walk from the Arco de Santa Catalina. My room was near the stairs that take you to the terrace and the young people that were using were so loud running up and down and screaming. So just be mindful. "

"Lovely friendly staff, 24 hr front desk. Clean charming property. Might be good to know beforehand that, as with many old places in Antigua (and Guatemala in general), your toilet paper is not flushed, it goes in the bin. A little odd if you are not used to it. We had baggies with us but none were provided. That would be the only negative critique. Nice hotel with good eating deals at sister properties. Pablo overnight is great at his job!"
