The taxi driver also tried to persuade me to book a different hotel closer to St. John's (Randolph Banza Taxi Service) however I held my ground and kindly declined his offer. Very glad that I did. "The beach was beautiful with mild surf. The grounds were beautifully landscaped.The office staff was helpful. We had no trouble getting taxis. The room(s) we rented could have used updates—only the bedroom was air conditioned making the living room and bathroom too warm to use. Some of the windows in these rooms did not open properly. The awning over the patio did not open all the way—we requested for maintenance to fix it, but that did not happen. Our room was cleaned everyday, but we were not permitted to have extra towels."
