Sophie helped my son and I have safe travels in Guatemala! We were winging it and she helped guide us in a safe direction and gave us great suggestions! Rosa made a great breakfast and was always there if we needed anything! the place was absolutely beautiful! I highly recommend Casa Carmel b&b!

This is our fourth time staying at Maya Jade, we love it. It’s private and quiet. The pools are great. We will stay here again. We live in Alaska and we will fly to Guatemala just to stay here.

We stayed at Casa Serena as a family while looking for a house to rent. Our family has traveled all over the world and having a 3 year old son. There is not another hotel that is even close in terms of being a safe/fun place for kids. Apart from that we have a 94 pound golden retriever. I tried close to 100 hotels none of them would accept a dog over 20 lbs..even resorted to trying pet hotels which would have separated her from her for a week or so breaking all of our hearts. This was one of the best hotels I have every stayed in. It is absolutely beautiful and super clean. It's very small so each room has a fantastic view. The city outside the hotel isn't great but the front desk can arrange transfers for you to go to different places. They also have great activities in Guatemala that they plan. If you don't arrive for breakfast, they will call you to deliver it to your room so you don't go without. They were the most friendly staff ever and they spoke English. I...

Wonderful hotel with lots of high end character! Check-in was very smooth and we were greeted by a very friendly staff member. He even helped us get food very late and helped us set up our taxis for next morning. very thoughtful and attention to every detail. We were very well taken care of.
