Great place with great food and beer. Absolutely going back.

The Hornsbury Mill is a very charming hotel, set in beautiful grounds with a little lake. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the bed comfortable. I had the full English (vegan) breakfast and it was very tasty. The one complaint I had was that when the very charming old mill wheel is on and turning (which they switch off at 8pm), the noise made a constant thud in my room and bothered me a little. I assume it won’t be too much of a bother though to most people, who would be in bed well...

We loved that the hotel is upscale but also kid friendly. The children’s amenities were great!

A great experience staying at this hotel, very friendly staff, restaurant with great good and reasonable price, awesome breakfast which you can order from the restaurant menu, spacious room.....things are better than you thought with that price in England.

I stayed at the Farthings Hotel for 7 nights and found it a delightful spot located in the small village of Hatch Beauchamp, Somerset. I chose to have all my dinner meals at the Farthings restaurant despite the many other local options. The chef offered fresh fish (bream, sole, hake and salmon) cooked to perfection during my stay and could not resist having bream two nights in a row! It was outstanding accommodations, comfortable bed great tub and shower. Met the owner and spent some time in the attached pub. Staff was amazing, had breakfast the next morning and that was outstanding as well. Definitely a recommendation to stay here.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome! The room is cozy, water is hot, food was delicious and drinks were yummy! Every breakfast was amazing! I really enjoyed Tony and Sondra’s company, from breakfast to nightcaps, Kings Arms was wonderful!
