It’s very clean and huge room. It’s a walking distance to everything. Staff members are very pleasant and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Nice room with excellent firm beds in this extremely well-located hotel. Breakfast offerings (including gluten-free bread on request) were varied and very tasty. Effective AC even on some hot days. Only hitch: the bathroom fan turns itself on and off automatically with no manual control, and it took a while to figure out the rules for that.

The most spacious room we have stayed at, it is the size of a nice apartment. Easy parking and late checking, not in the center of everything but still walkable. We would definitely stay again.

At the crest of the gorge but above the main road so very little noise. The staff were very helpful. The bedroom was I perfect condition as was the en suite bathroom. Unfortunately the dinner menu was limited but the receptionist suggested 4 hostelries near by. Breakfast was great. A short walk into the gorge is included in the price. I have stayed at the Goldener Hirsch for the past 30 years The hotel and its staff never fail. Charming and comfortable, it is located in the midst of an active tourist area but absolutely quiet inside and completely safe outside. The staff listen carefully and exceed every request. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Salzburg.

Amazing staff, very friendly and family owned hotel!! Because it’s family owned, it has working hours. BE SURE TO CHECK IN BETWEEN 3PM - 7:59PM (5 hour window). There will be nobody there after hours, and if you’re arrive late, you have to give them a heads up a few hours ahead. I booked the hotel due to the price, location and good reviews. This place far exceeded my expectations. It was so clean, modern yet with old world charm, cozy and inviting. The family who runs the hotel are so friendly and gave a ton of great advice on where to eat, who to go, and even was able to sell us the Salzburg pass ( A must if you visit salzburg). Very pleasant room, calm atmosphere, good bed. The restaurant has limited choices. But aside from business on the campus next door, there's little reason to be be here.

Super clean. Nice room with all amenities needed but I didn’t see a human being the whole time I was there. Checked in automatically and easily and left before anyone arrived. All good though
