Beautiful and large sharing area with a small private room. Very warm and friendly staffs gave us a lot of information for visiting and dining.

I stayed for 3 nights during local trail running race event. The place is really tidy and well maintained. I sensed the owners' passion for this place and Tongariro region. The kitchen is spacious, has large fridges and everything you need. You can bring your own food and cook without any hassles. The lounge is even better with pool table and table tennis table. There are two decent restaurants, a petrol station and 4-square supermarket nearby, so you can find all the essentials.

Friendly staff, parking space not available on site but nearby, clean room, nice shared facilities.

Perfect stay for a quick recovery from a long travel day. Clean with air conditioning they was sorely needed in a warm humid night.

OK, so this is not a 5 star motel, but we really liked this place. The worry I had when I made this booking was that I couldn't really tell much about the neighborhood from the description & photos. Cambridge is larger and more charming than expected. This accommodation is centrally located, old school charming and surrounded by antique shops (and other retail nearby). Very convenient. (Easy driving distance to Hobbiton.) Felt very welcomed. Super appreciated the unexpected upgrade to a room...

Everything was wonderful, absolutely loved the spa tub! It’s within walking distance of the lake and the view of the lake was spectacular! The amenities were many and perfect! We also enjoyed the hot tub. It is nice that they schedule 30 minute time slots so you don’t have to sit in a hot tub with strangers!
