"Staff friendly enough however when we went to ask some more information questions the office was closed, even though their office hours indicated they would be open! Room comfortable, warm & quiet. Handy to walk anywhere in town. A nice stay"

"Very clean and receptionist was very helpful- packed a breakfast for us the night before since we had to leave early in the morning. Would highly recommend!"

"Stayed here for one night before starting the Paparoa Trail walk. The lady at check in was lovely. We enjoyed our spacious room. We were happy with everything."

"What a view. Lots of great walking trails nearby. Great hotel if you are going to be spending your days tramping locally."

"great location and nice spacious accommodation"

"Room with a view, nice bar to relax in and the staff were very helpful"

"Clean Friendly and helpful."

"The staff was lovely, friendly and accommodating with a last minute request. The 2 bedrooms were roomy & comfortable & motel had a well equipped kitchen. There was only 1 heater for 2 bedrooms and where the power point was in the lounge room it was in a bit of an awkward spot - i would just say in winter check the heater situation suits your needs when you check in - otherwise this motel is really excellent value & comfort for the price."
