"Personnel does not speak English. Room is cold, except just under the ac. No heating in bathroom. Freezing. Internet sketchy. I lost hours of work and even to co tact the help desk I needed to restart several times, each time with another agent, due to connection, and from scratch. Noise from other rooms and guests with kids in dining room. No one is there to tell them. My friend ran away after 1 night. No housekeeping during stay, only when I insisted once. Cigarette smell from stiff towels....

It is in the Mardin new town, in the suburbs, so you always have to take a bus or a dolmus to get to where the action is - definitely out on the limb. Breakfast is plentiful. "The hotel is in the middle of old Mardin, operated by a very warm family. Very "Mardin - like" accomodation in an old house for a reasonable price. There is a paid parking near museum not far away (can be full in the afternoon / evening and in that case parking is complicated). Great breakfast. We prolonged the stay for 3 nights. "
