"Great place Beautiful area and very good food"

"Our stay at Greshornish was lovely. It’s quite a remote location, but would be a lovely place to stay for a few days. We used it as a halfway point traveling around the Isle of Skye . Also, the breakfast was very good."

"Rooms spacious. Washrooms are huge and recently renovated. Food was delicious with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Views from dining room are exceptional. Hotel does smell a bit older, not surprisingly given its history. Remote location if someone is planning to spend a prolonged time."

"Very nice and clean. Relaxing with a magnificent view. 15 minutes walk from the beach that you usually have to yourself. Near major attractions. Me and my wife had a nice stay"

"Hotel is very cool, nice rooms, great food/bar!"

"Less than 15 minute drive into Portree if you don’t want to stay inside town. Fantastic location for exploring all of Skye and the hosts were super friendly. The breakfast is wonderful as well."

"Great location up street from downtown. Good restaurant and breakfast was included. Very nice size room with good amenities."

"Comfortable stay, great breakfast and staff"

"The grounds were beautiful, the view from our room was sublime, the food was amazing and the staff were friendly and helpful. We did a lot of moving hotels during our trip and I wish we had at least one more day here."

"Have nothing bad to say. Our stay was perfect. The staff could not be friendlier. The breakfast was amazing!!"

"Had a great stay here and the live music was amazing."

"Travelled with my family and this was an excellent choice, stayed at the private room and was surprised at the lack of noise from the outside, very good acoustics. Highly recommend and the private bathroom was a plus. Very close to several tourists destinations."

"From the moment we approached the driveway I was taken aback. There’s a large pile of old tires at the bottom of the drive. The drive is several hundred feet long and very rutted and muddy. It badly needs to be regraveled, as does the parking area. The picture of the house on the listing is many years old, and it needs paint badly now. I know it’s a wet environment, but it’s not well maintained. Inside is not real clean. There’s a lot of mold, and a lot of basic repairs need to be done....

"Loved the hotel. Fabulous room. Entrance hall tired. Food lovely. Staff very helpful!"

"This was a beautifully appointed room complete with all the things we needed especially some very yummy coffee! Our hosts were extremely helpful, especially when the storm came and they were concerned we would be in danger if we went out! Very comfy, cozy, and beautiful place to stay. Highly recommended!"

"Convenient parking, nice view and central located."

"Property beautifully presented, high level of cleanliness, nearly everything equipped just missing a couple of kitchen items, like small plates and heat protector stands. Price was expensive due to our original 2 week holiday which was booked 6 months in advance being cancelled 2 weeks prior to holiday date, which lead to booking this property as only property available on the Isle of Skye which made it expensive for a week!!"

"A great spot to spend a couple of nights and explore Skye from. Would definitely recommend."
