"First of all, Tricia is the best host ever! She explained everything to us, told us some tips for skye that were really helpful. Regarding the place, it has everything you need! If you want to cook, if you want to just rest after a long day outside, the views are amazing. Also just to top it all of, she has two beatiful dogs that are the best!! If you are planning going to skye, this is the place you need!"

"The hotel was lovely, good parking available, very friendly and helpful staff, room was gorgeous and immaculate, the breakfast was excellent value, if booked the day before it was only £10 per person and included a buffet and a menu option, cannot praise the breakfast enough. The only thing (which is fairly small as the hotel was quiet) was that you could easily hear people outside your room when they were entering/leaving their rooms, but not something that would ruin your stay. Would highly recommend and would come back in a heartbeat!"

We loved Imogen she was fantastic, she wanted to chat and engage with us, had great recommendations for things to see and do while on Skye. She was a great bartender, and was just really personable. The cabins are lovely, and don't let the gravel walks to your cabin scare you away from this one, they have a porter to help get the bags to the cabin. 10 out of 10 for Bracken hide."

"Our hosts were very friendly and offered advise regarding Storm Amy's approach, where we could see the stags locally (which we did!) and regarding returning via Bealach na Ba which we did in dense cloud on the way in. We took the coast road back as the weather was worsening and the view non existent! Our room was very comfortable and cosy with underfloor heating in the bathroom. The honesty bar was great for stopping in the room (wine, beer, soft drinks, various snacks) - we came away with some of the lovely shortbread. Not to mention the welcome drinks which was a lovely touch. The B&B is right out of Applecross and so we took a drive back to the Applecross Inn for dinner with a lovely view out over the bay. Scottish breakfast was perfect and the locally smoked salmon was fabulous! It set us up for the day with a lovely a walk around Applecross before heading off the beat the incoming Amy."
