"Breakfast was good; however, they can’t cope when it’s busy. They are lacking in the areas of cleanliness and customer service. When we initially checked in, we were given a dirty room with dirty bedding and dirty mirrors. You could see that no one had bothered to check or even clean the room. The remote control was cello-taped at the back, and the batteries kept moving out of place. The telephone itself was damaged. I tried to call using my cellphone, but no one answered. The hair dryer was another disaster.
We complained about the room, and the next day you could see the difference when we walked in—it was like a different room. The cleaner did an amazing job cleaning the room and changing the bedding. The lady at reception the next day was nice, and the maintenance lady was also very kind and helpful. They are the people who made a difference. They put a new phone in the room and provided a new remote.
I just wish all staff were as consistent as the reception lady, the maintenance lady, and the cleaner. It’s sad that they are excellent at their jobs, but a few bad apples ruin it all.
At breakfast, we were made to wait for more than 6 minutes just for someone to assign us a table, and they were not busy. The young lady just looked at us, ignored us, and did not even acknowledge us. She disappeared for about 6 minutes; after that, she told us we could go and sit down."
