"Overall not a bad hotel. They were under renovation so no pool! No good for a kids soccer tourney. Had a lot of trouble with the room keys not working. Shower was either hot! Or cold! No in between. Room was clean and spacious. Nice variety of restaurants near by."

"The hotel itself is old and outdated but reasonably priced and the bed was very comfortable. I would stay there again if I'm in the area, but it would be nice if they would look into doing some upgrades and renovations since there was peeling paint in the bathroom of my hotel room and the furniture looked beat up. But if you're looking for an affordable place in the area, I would recommend the Hope hotel."

"We stayed to visit family locally. Beautiful clean and very convenient somewhat peaceful stay. The room we had was near the elevator. You could feel it in the bed. Not an issue since it was a Monday night and it never woke me up once i fell asleep. The room did have a very strong cleaning/deoderant smell that I found very irritating. The breakfast and service was great. I really enjoyed our stay and will be back."

"First off, the staff was great... helpful, friendly and attentive. Was in town for a meeting at the USAF museum so this property allowed easy access to it (10 min drive). But this I believe is a new hotel in a very old building. If you're looking for quiet, know that street noise can be a problem as well as the old elevator system that seems to contribute to the non-stop thumping/banging heard most hours. While the restaurant is decent (bar furniture needs a re-think/upgrade) there's not much else w/in a 3-4 block radius. It's about a 20-30min walk east or south to Oregon (Salar or Jays worth the walk) to find any other decent dining."
