"We booked this property for five women traveling together. The rooms were to be adjacent with a connecting door and we call a week before to confirm and were told the rooms would be adjacent.
We also enquired into the property in respect to the hot tub and pool and were told they were open and would be available. They advised the check-in time would be 3:00 PM.
Upon arrival at 5:00 PM, the ladies were told no rooms were available as they were not cleaned and it would be “several hours until you can check in”. When they asked about the adjoining rooms, they were told the property “never agrees to assign adjoining rooms and they would most likely not have rooms next to each other because we assign them on a first come first serve basis”. When asked about the hot tub/pool, “oh…that’s closed”. They asked to speak to the manager and were told the manager would no be in until Sunday and they could talk with him then.
They called me and I then tried to get support from Expedia and after over an hour on a chat, I was disconnected and asked to review the help I received.
After getting no help, the ladies went to find something to eat and returned two hours later to get one room as the second was still not ready. About an hour after settling into one room, the second was made available at the end of the hall away from the other room.
The front desk staff were rude.
We are very disgusted with this property and the service they failed to provide. They lied about the pool."
