"Our stay at The Brown Hotel did not disappoint! While Louisville let us down a bit with a closed Museum in the Historic District we were wanting to see, the crazy cost of downtown parking and lack of activities during the week, our hotel Concierge, Curtis made up for it with his helpful suggestions, his winning charm that made us feel at home, his going the extra mile in dropping us off and picking us up when we needed it after an evening downtown. I can’t sing his praises too loudly. If you happen to stay there, say hello to Curtis and ask him for recommendations! Oh, the room was great and the food was wonderful!"

"The rooms are huge. There are plenty of charging ports and outlets. Love the well-stocked kitchen and large clean bathroom with great shower pressure. Front desk and lobby staff very friendly and helpful. Parking was $18 a day, but we found it easy to find free street parking within one block, and less than 2 blocks on a busy Friday night. Breakfast was more than ample. The gym is well equipped and quite sizable. There are a few homeless people in the area, but nothing threatening. It was easy to walk to food and bars, the waterfront park, museum row and the Big Four bridge. I don’t think I liked that the pool area was enclosed by big glass windows such that people king by on the street could see me in my swimsuit. The TVs are not Smart TVs, so you can’t stream from your Netflix, Hulu, Prime accounts, etc, but the WiFi is solid and I did watch a program on my phone. We weren’t in the room for too long anyway. Two blocks away is a nice Nulu late night convenience market, very well stocked with snacks, wine and beer too."

"In a great part of town in NuLu. Coffee shops, BBQ, breweries and great unique shops all within walking distance. Easy parking on side streets or valet. Gotta try the warm olives in the rooftop bar at the hotel. Addicting….got to go to Muths to get the special candy. Hotel is uniquely decorated and has a great vibe. Staff was friendly. "
