"We stayed here for one night while visiting Alton Towers, and it was ideal. The room was very clean, and the staff were both friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the on-site restaurant, which was delicious—just what we needed after a long day. They also offer a kids’ menu, which was a great touch. "Really lovely property and great evening staff offering a really warm welcome. The morning staff didn't seem quite as enthusiastic but maybe that was just the time of day!? The facilities lose a star because the breakfast is not included and can be very expensive if you include a couple of coffees, orange juice, cereal and cooked breakfast. Great stay overall though."

"The Hen House has only a few rooms.. Huge tea bags, hot choc etc. in room.. Nice friendly pub, in a delightful village. The only thing missing, was bed side table lamps! I slept well left feeling relaxed Thank you "
