"Lovely place, very quiet and serene. The olive oil, salt, pepper, coffee seem like you can count on them being nicely stocked which is nice. The shower and toiletries were great. My tips for a good stay would be to bring a robe as there aren’t window treatments for the walk from the larger bedroom to a bathroom and be advised there are stairs to get to the various rooms if that is an issue for you. There isn’t an ice maker. This part of Orcas is very seasonal so make sure the things you want to do are open. "

"My wife and I were looking for a great getaway in the San Juan Islands and this was the right pick. Pictures are accurate, waking up to the sunrise on the bay was rejuvenating. We found a few strawberries in the garden that were peak flavor and I had to marvel at how great the location is. The house is cozy, has a nice aesthetic and you can feel how deliberately the hosts care for it. "

"My brother and I stayed here five nights in September 2025. This is a wonderful house on the water with beach access and island views looking north to Orcas Island. It’s a great point of origin for walks and bike rides, and you could kayak from the beach since it’s a low bank. This is a custom home with high quality furnishings. The kitchen has everything you need but be sure to bring salt/pepper and cooking oil. The pillows are good but the beds need upgrading. The guest room beds were so uncomfortable that my brother said they were the only deterrent to returning. Otherwise, the only other recommendation I would make is for the lower kitchen cabinets to get cleaned out. And the space under the kitchen sink needs a good cleaning. "

"We had a wonderful time at this lovely home on Orcas Island to celebrate a birthday weekend. Its proximity to the water, the Co-op next door, and the quick drives to beautiful hikes and quaint downtown made it the perfect weekend getaway location. We loved eating meals on the back patio and drinking coffee on the front porch. The home is spacious and adorable, and the owners were quickly responsive to our needs.I recommend this place to anyone looking for the perfect Orcas getaway, and hope to stay here again in the future!"
