Check-in would have been just fine (the communication was good to ensure contact with the virtual front desk, in a spotty internet area) but I don’t believe our keypad was programmed correctly. "Lovely place, very quiet and serene. The olive oil, salt, pepper, coffee seem like you can count on them being nicely stocked which is nice. The shower and toiletries were great. My tips for a good stay would be to bring a robe as there aren’t window treatments for the walk from the larger bedroom to a bathroom and be advised there are stairs to get to the various rooms if that is an issue for you. There isn’t an ice maker. This part of Orcas is very seasonal so make sure the things you want to do are open. "

"My wife and I were looking for a great getaway in the San Juan Islands and this was the right pick. Pictures are accurate, waking up to the sunrise on the bay was rejuvenating. We found a few strawberries in the garden that were peak flavor and I had to marvel at how great the location is. The house is cozy, has a nice aesthetic and you can feel how deliberately the hosts care for it. "

"We had a wonderful time at this lovely home on Orcas Island to celebrate a birthday weekend. Its proximity to the water, the Co-op next door, and the quick drives to beautiful hikes and quaint downtown made it the perfect weekend getaway location. We loved eating meals on the back patio and drinking coffee on the front porch. The home is spacious and adorable, and the owners were quickly responsive to our needs.I recommend this place to anyone looking for the perfect Orcas getaway, and hope to stay here again in the future!"
