"The pool and gym were open and uncrowded- something hard to find at this time of Covid closures. Everything was well maintained and beautiful and there was a public park nearby with jogging and biking trails. Only thing I wish the description of the property would mention is that the apartment faces directly toward the nearby freeway. If you open any doors or windows the noise is pretty loud. However, if you turn on the air conditioning and close all the openings, it is fine."

"We stayed a couple years ago at this complex and had a great experience. This time not so much. No internet. No air conditioning. Difficult to get in touch with management and when we did they promised to send someone out to fix the air but never did. I have been asking for someone to call me back to discuss some kind of compensation to no avail. I just keep getting the run around. I have waited weeks to write this review because I was hoping that something would come through, but nothing ever...

"Neighborhood and property are very nice. Hotel is old, so the wear can be seen in some places like my room furnishings and elevator. Lobby and restaurant seem more recently updated. Gym looked very nice and nice that classes are included, but I didn't get to attend. Likely wouldn't stay here again unless I was going to use amenities everyday."

"Rooms very outdated, carpets were filthy, wouldn’t use the stove or anything in the kitchen, the beds where old and lumpy, had a musty smell , did have big closets and was spacious, no ice on property, rooms do not look like they do online, the breakfast was yogurt, toast, cereal and a danish. "I am writing to share my feedback regarding my recent stay. Because of an unexpected situation at home involving strong paint fumes, I had to book this stay at the last minute and paid a higher than usual premium rate. Given the price paid, the experience fell significantly short of my expectations. Please note the following issues: Housekeeping Schedule: The housekeeping team needs better planning and consistency. One day my room cleaning was entirely skipped. The following day, the room was cleaned far too early, while I had briefly stepped out for a cup of coffee, and before I had a chance to shower and check out. Common Area Climate Control: The lobby and lounge areas were uncomfortably warm. While I understand the desire to conserve energy, compromising guest comfort to this extent will ultimately lead to a loss of customers. Furniture Condition: The furniture in the room desperately needs deep cleaning or replacement. The futon/sofa, its mattress, and the pillows on it were dirty and heavily stained. I have been a loyal customer of Marriott Courtyard for many years, but due to the poor quality of this stay, I will likely begin looking at other hotel chains for my future travel needs."
