There was everything to like about The Bell Inn, especially its location across from a scenic and rapidly moving river. The room was small but definitely adequate for a solo traveler. I worried needlessly about having a shared bath because it was just steps from the room and always available. The pub below the guest rooms served a variety of tasty food, especially top-notch fish & chips. Plus, there was very talented LIVE musician on Saturday night who also guided karaoke time. We stumbled onto the Artist’s Residence, and fell in love with it. There room s are so cozy and so artfully designed and decorated. The staff was wonderful. They helped in any way they could. The pub is from another era, a wonderful era. The food is great. The other customers were friendly and interesting. Next time we are anywhere near the area, we’re going to be staying there.

Beautiful location in the countryside, in a sweet town that was fun to walk around and enjoy the peacefulness. Breakfast was great, and the staff were all very friendly.

This is an excellent place to stay while visiting Oxford. The staff was super accommodating and friendly. Our room above the pub was large and nicely appointed.

Cannot say enough about this property. Start to finish one of the most beautiful, best properties we have ever visited. Recommend without hesitation. Make sure you plan to eat there. Restaurant is as good as the view.

The staff was some of the nicest people we met on our vacation in England. They went above and beyond to take care of us. The food was fabulous, we enjoyed dinner and breakfast. I will defiantly stay here gain,

We had a lovely stay at the Cotswald Gateway Hotel, the managing couple were very friendly and helpful as was all the staff. We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant. Walk into town was lovely too! Perfect weekend !

Very nice B&B.

It was an amazing experience. The room was comfortable and clean, with a lovely view of a horse pasture. The inn and pub were great for breakfast and afternoon drinks. Everyone was very friendly!

A really comfortable place to stay, all the staff are helpful and friendly. Our room and bathroom very both very spacious. All the food served was tasty and high quality.

Great old English inn

The property was beautifully quaint and 16th Century with beams, a lovely pub and gorgeous dining area. The food was very good and the breakfast, both the cooked and the cold breakfast. The only problem was the steep stairs but nothing you can do about that as the property is so old. Overall a charming place.

Nice location and property
