"Close to town and close to the rail (free parking). Easy assess to all of Scotland within driving distance. It was easy to park in the street by the park. The house was a perfect place for our week’s stay in Scotland. We visited Edinburgh, Dunfermline town, St. Andrews, Glengoyne, Aberfeldy & other distilleries. We even drove to Fort Williams. "About 30 minutes from downtown Edinburgh, this one bedroom was exactly what we needed for a quick weekend stay. Parking is right outside the door in a dedicated space and building is separate from home so private. Kitchen did not come with basic tea supplies or spices but did have everything we needed for cooking dinners/breakfasts. Host was kind and welcoming. Would recommend."

The landlord had their county approval form allowing short term rentals prominently displayed, and had the instructions for operation of the range and microwave available in a kitchen drawer. There was an information page of local shops and restaurants provided. There is a convenience store, a fish-and-chips place, a bakery, and a Tesco supermarket all within reasonable walk from the rental....
