Everything we needed

This was perfect for our stay in the area. Pet friendly was a huge plus for us. Beautiful deck, kitchen was well equipped and we found everything clean and satisfactory. Conveniently located. We were able to make a couple day trips to area attractions. Would love to come back.

Durango

Overall we enjoyed our stay here. However several unexpected issues arose. I did speak to the rental management agency and he did quickly help with a couple issues (step ladder, as cupboards are for taller people than I am; and oil for the squeaky doors), and said he would notify the owner about others. We did meet the owner - friendly guy. So, instead of a lower rating, I am rating 4 stars, on the assumption that some/many of the issues will be corrected. -the unit is on the 2nd floor, above a garage (stairs). While we could negotiate this, someone else might not and this needs to be noted in the accessibility description-bedroom was small, with no bedside table or lamp on 1 side. This might be corrected by 2 smaller tables. I had to walks sideways to get into bed.-no closet in the bedroom. Need a place to put suitcases while using them, such as a foldable stand. Small area in pantry available with hangers. Dresser available.-some linens soiled or showing age; toss them or use for cleaning, as other linens (not those hanging in the bathroom for us) were OK.-bathroom has 1 small towel rack. There's room for another, as we had 2 people using bathroom towels.-some rugs and some living room covers were approaching threadbare.-some living room furniture shown in the listing was not in the apartment, making comfortable sitting more difficult.The view is lovely, especially the fall colors.

Durango Silverton long weekend

This accommodation and the views from the balcony were awesome. The space itself is clean and has everything that you would need. The only thing I didn’t find was a full length mirror, but that was minor compared to the fact that everything else I looked for I was able to find. we got there at night and the owner was there and ready to help us to make sure that we got in OK because it was so dark. They were very kind and friendly. When I woke up in the morning and looked out the windows to see the view. I lost my breath. We would absolutely stay here again. We did end up staying an extra night this time because we loved it so much. There’s tons to do and this is an amazing place to rest your head and relax

This property is awesome, the patio, the views, close to everything , pet friendly , has ac for when you need it, but with windows open in July was great , almost cold and everything you need in kitchen and bathroom, you can see the train daily ,we loved it and again location location ! We will come back if ever in Durango

Views were excellent! Property was perfect for the two of us and our littles pooches. Our Vrbo home was exceptionally clean, stocked with everything we needed and a quiet sanctuary to recharge a bit. We had the privilege of meeting the owner, Gerry who was at another one of his properties, he was very cordial, and provided useful info on restaurants, things to do and offered use of his washer & dryer at the neighboring property as our unit did not have one. Very nice guy!
