Perfect Spring Break spot

This was our second year in Durango for Spring Break, and this condo was absolutely perfect for our family. The location was exactly what we were looking for. There was plenty of space for us to spread out, but also for us to gather and enjoy time with one another. We will definitely be coming back!

Durango

The condo was perfect for us. We were able to walk to Durango Steam Train, Mesa Verde Tour office, and all over Downtown. The Condo was clean, provided starter kits for kitchen and bathrooms and a great balcony for people watching. Will stay there again on our next trip!

Great Location and Family Friendly

We were on family vacation and decided to visit Colorado and were able to stay in this beautiful condo in downtown Durango. It's in a prime location for walking to downtown and all the great shops and restaurants. Host was great and addressed any questions answered. Property was great for our family of 4 including two small children. We will be booking again when in Durango.

This was our 3rd time staying here and have booked our 2025 ski vacation at this property. It really feels like home away from home.

There is also an amazing dog park a short drive away--highly recommend. The condo was clean, up to date and furnishings were practical. The allotted parking spot will only work for a small vehicle, but there was nearby street parking. One odd thing-- no closets or drawers to store clothing so we were not able to unpack.

Cool condo; great location

Very nicely decorated and clean condo in a convenient location. It is very close to the Historic Downtown so close to the train station, restaurants/bars, and shops. The management company was quickly responsive to our questions. But two points that are not clear on the website: 1) the on-site parking can't hold anything bigger than a Tundra pickup truck. And there is no way to overlap. There is free street parking nearby, but on the weekend, that gets full. 2) the website does say in small print that the condo apartment is on the second floor (with no elevator). But the bedrooms are up another long flight of stairs. These 2 issues caused us some difficulty, so I'll give them 4 stars instead of 5.

A couple of things to be aware of. The A/C does not work very well in upstairs space, it did get up to 80 degrees in the afternoon and evening. Downstairs space was nice and cool. The smaller bedroom contains 1 twin bed and 1 twin size chair pullout. Works great for kids but the chair pullout not ideal for an adult. Unit was nice and clean. Host provided good selection of games and TV's are set up for you to use your own streaming services.

Extremely Clean, Great Location, Amazing Price!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was traveling with my husband to take my younger cousins skiing at Pergatory. This place suited our need perfectly! The pullout was comfortable and the second room worked great for 4 people piling in. The master is large and nice, was a great space to have separate from the younger ones. Since we were travelling with family, I cooked for the majority of our stay and I would nit-pick about some of the kitchen amenities (pots/utensils available). Cooking large meals was a little difficult due to some of those limitations but we figured it out and I doubt many would be in my same situation. The only other two things I would give as feedback would be 1) some mats in the home would have been nice (we were there in the snows and there was nowhere to put boots or coats or wipe your shoes upon entering so there were tracks everywhere), 2) a few more linens would have been helpful (we ended up having to do laundry everynight to keep up with the load due to having to constantly wipe the floor), and 3) our balconies were covered solid in ice and we had to spend 3 hours or so defrosting them in order to use them. These things are soooo nit-picky and should not deter anyone's stay here. It was a lovely time and I will definitely stay again. Also the manager's were so kind and helpful!

Reviewer Comments: Place was very clean and cozy.Pros: Location - 1.5 blocks from Main St. and 2 blocks to train station.Cons: Location - Lots of traffic, lots of noise from liquor store across the street, from residents in the rentals located in the alley, the train sounding off its whistle every so often until midnight, and the loud music an patron from the 2 bars just down the street. Inside the house there were no dressers and no closets to place/hang your things. Outside, the bike/ski storage is very small. We were there for the State HS MTB Championship Race, thus we had several bikes. The storage could only accommodate 1 mtn bike. On top of that, the stop light outside the condo would flash yellow all night long and even with the curtains closed you had a strobe light effect in the bedroom.

Location, Location, Location

We stayed at this condo located on College Street for 3 weeks during August, 2021. Booking was easy and Premier Property Management communicated well. Check in was easy with codes to outside door and condo door. Questions about the condo were answered quickly by management company. The 2 bedroom, 2 bath second floor condo was clean, updated, and had all the necessities we needed in the kitchen and baths to get our stay started. There is no elevator so there is a flight of stairs to get to condo and both bedrooms require climbing another flight of stairs. The bed was comfortable, the HVAC worked well, and the hot water and water pressure was good. The biggest plus is the location of the condo, 1 1/2 block from Main Street with all the restaurants, bars and shops and you can walk to just about anywhere downtown including the Silverton Railroad. College St. is probably the third busiest street and there is some traffic noise that comes into the condo if you are a light sleeper. There is a small balcony that overlooks College street ( and liquor store) as well as one that overlooks the parking lot. As other reviewers have pointed out, the assigned parking place is very tight and only a very small economy car could fit. Fortunately, no one had rented the unit next to our space so our SUV could use both spaces. that said, there is free street parking on 3rd Avenue which is 1/2 block away. There is a dedicated storage closest in the parking area where you can store golf clubs, bikes etc. As other reviewers pointed out, the condo layout is a little strange with one bathroom on the main floor that is the first thing you see when you open the front door. The living/dining area is good sized with updated furniture and wood floors. On the other side of the bathroom is the kitchen with electric stove and oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee pot and griddle, and lots of plates, glasses, utensils, and cookware. Going upstairs, the washer/dryer is at the top of the stairs. the master bedroom is good size with a king bed and the on suite bathroom is updated with both a small shower and a jetted tub shower. The bedroom does not have any dresser or storage but there is lots of storage in the bathroom (including ironing board/ iron). Since it was only my wife and I, we used the second bedroom with two twin beds as storage and laying out our clothes as there was very little closet space for hanging clothes . Would stay again

Great location but .....

Favorables: location, cleanliness, property mgt response to problems, many good eateries. Unfavorables: VERY tight parking space, VERY limited space to hang clothing, vagrant using parking space to chill out, homeless people loitering throughout town and especially along Animas river walking paths.
