"Nice place to stay, very handy for dog walks at the back of the golf course.
In a handy place if you want to go to the beach it's about a 5 minute drive to Barkley beach, only 4 miles to Rhyl."

"Don't bother.
Told on arrival the kids swim times are 8-10am and 3-5pm. That was never mentioned during booking... it's made worse by the fact every family then turns up so you can't actually swim. Oh and they don't even have towels to use (because it's busy).
Lodge was really dirty including chewing gum on pillow and the food is worse than school dinners (went elsewhere after one meal... nearby pub called Blue Lion is amazing).
The worst part is following a complaint we'd made with a list...

Beautiful stay passing through the my way to London as a pair of 24 year old year Americans. The experience is tailor for all ages, but especially retirees who are traveling in the area. The service was incredible, food was cooked by the husband and the wife was kind a kind and generous hostess (Apologies for not remembering their names was exhausted when I asked). The room was stunning, very well kept with all the amenities I needed. The highlight was waking up the the sounds of birds chirping...

Charming little hotel on the seaside promenade. Spacious rooms, a cosy "snug lounge" to read or have tea, coffee or other. Nice dining room, with a choice of free continental breakfast (which includes fresh baked croissants, cereal, toat, juice yogurt, and tea or coffee) or a full breakfast for a reasonable cost. The dining room is also open for lunch and dinner, and the food is very good.
The staff is friendly and helpful, and as a solo traveler, i felt very comfortable.
