"Lobstone Cottage is in a wonderful location - a paradise for all walkers! We hardly used our car all week. The cottage is comfortable and homely - all we needed. While the front is directly on the narrowest bit of the road going through Rosthwaite, that didn’t bother us. There is no traffic at night - from 8pm it was very quiet, and the first signs of life in Borrowdale were when farm vehicles started to come through around 7am. Would we go back again - yes, indeed! "Really loved out stay at Little Mell Fell. Great instructions to find it. Set up really well for either a couple or a family of 4. Love that it's pet friendly. Was really clean and felt relatively recently done. The location was great to get around Ullswater and out to the surrounding lakes. "

"Amazing quaint little cottage with Fantastic views of hills and lake the red squirrels were an added bonus, couldn’t of wished for a better location and wished we had longer there will definitely think of going back sometime"

"We had an excellent weeks stay at Badgers Rake 12 and would definitely stay here again. Everything in the flat is just perfect and being on the second floor one gets the most amazing views over Ambleside to the fells beyond. Just one thing to be aware of, if walking from the main road into Ambleside, Badgers Rake is up a fairly short but very steep hill."
