"Ideal place for 2 couples. The accommodation has been recently renovated to a high standard. The kitchen was very well equipped. There was plentiful parking. We really enjoyed spending a night on the decking with views of Windermere. The key safe made it easy to check in & out."

"We stayed at the boathouse as a base for cycling, walking and exploring but it really was so much more... We swam from the slipway, fished from the jetty and watched the birds and the fish and the lake and the view. We really were Duke and Duchess for our short but memorable stay."

"Edna’s Cottage is wonderful. It’s in the ideal location with paths on the doorstep with a range of walks. It was quiet and we spent time in the beautiful garden which was magical. There was a lovely traditional range and an adequately kitted out kitchen. The bathroom is spacious with plenty of hot water and a good shower. The double bedroom has a comfy bed and a large closet for storage and hanging clothes. The two single beds were unfortunately extremely uncomfortable and two of our group had...

"Lord's Seat was a great place for our family of 5 during our week in the Lakes. Very clean and comfy flat. Great beds and powerful/hot showers. Well stocked kitchen. Hosts were very easy to contact and responded quickly. Superb location for all of our excursions. I would not hesitate to go back here!"

"The property is large and easily sleeps 6 adults and 2 children. It’s centrally located and it’s very easy to park on the drive and in the street; which is a bonus in Keswick. The garden area is fully enclosed and has a lovely patio table and chairs. It is well equipped and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again."
