Shap Wells Hotel

"Great location . Lovely receiption, dining and Bar area. The rooms were clean and a little small, but the bed was good. No water in the bedroom. Bathrooms a little dated in the room we stayed in, but all clean. The food ordering with certainly different but and the chioce limited but all to a good standard. The service was quick for the amount of people eating at the same time. I would certaintly recommend this hotel."

"Sue was great! Very attentive, and organized. Made sure that we were settled in properly. We even had a small refrigerator in our room! She thought of everything. Loved all of the flowers and plants in the front yard. Her home and rooms were lovely. Would definitely come back!"

"I really enjoyed staying here. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. They are very environmentally aware and encourage guests to be mindful as well. I arrived too late for dinner but breakfast was tasty and I only stayed one night. There were families/folk enjoying the hammocks in the garden and an outdoor almost people sized game of chess."

"We had a wedding to attend and the staff were so helpful in allowing us to check in early so we could get dressed and leave bags in our room. Rooms were clean and had everything you needed, air con was perfect and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was also lovely - would happily stay here again next time we visit Penrith. Thank you!"
