"Conveniently located close to the rail station and city centre. Reception helpful and efficient. Room small but functional. Tea and coffee making facility. Quiet. Comfortable bed. Breakfast selection good and freshly cooked. My friends room had a couple of issues with a bedside light not working and the tv cutting out after a few minutes, that he did not draw to the attention of reception at the time or upon departure, so I mentioned when I departed. This review relates to my room and experience."

"Lovely old hotel out in the middle of nowhere. Ensure you follow hotel directions to get there, google sends you down an unkept road. We were not housed in the main hotel but in a separate building. There was no lift and we were on the second floor. Our party was all over 60, with one over 73, which wasn’t easy for carrying suitcases and we were not offered any assistance . The wifi was also poor in that building. On a positive note the food was excellent both dinner and breakfast were great, the only issue was we were unable to book in for dinner until 7.45 due to two coaches that were booked in prior."
