"Ample parking. Amazing breakfast. Great views"

"A comfortable stay in a clean, basic room. I was dropping my kid off at Durham, and needed an affordable, nearby place. This came up on an Expedia search. About 30min away from her college, and we took the opportunity to drive 5 min down to Horden Beach for a walk, which is lovely. We checked in at the bar, which was busy. This is not a criticism of the hotel, it is my view. Based on reviews I expected a little more than we got....

"Stayed here before the Great North Run, convenient for the A1 and a short drive into Durham. Clean property with helpful staff"
